Along Batu Bolong
Eden Cafe
Even after eating out almost daily for two weeks straight, this little unremarkable looking spot by one of the main roads though Canggu’s center packs a punch.
The food is absolutely outstanding. And yes, I visited three times within a week after realising that. I think that speaks for itself. My favourite was the coconut coated chicken patty. Most certainly one of my favourite Canggu restaurants.

Opening hours: 7am-6pm
Phone: 0831-1430-6553

Fish Bone Local
Right opposite the Aston Canggu hotel, you might easily drive past Mason. But once inside, it feels like an entirely different world from busy Batu Bolong. Comfortable seating areas, a backyard with pillows and fairy lights, Mason is super stylish. Meals aren’t cheap but the burger is really nice.

The Lawn
One of the best restaurants in Canggu for watching epic sunsets AND being able to swim in a pool while looking out over the ocean. From what I’ve seen, its magnetic pull to this fancy dining spot, however, comes from its Espresso Martini signature drink. The food is delicious, albeit a bit more on the pricy side.

Opening hours: 11am-11pm
Phone: (0361) 3351055

In the Raw
Not only is it super close to the beach and makes you feel like you are lounging in someone’s backgarden, you can basically spend all day here. Start your day with a delectable avocado toast before moving on to the best raw vegan zucchini noodles and then a slice of chocolate cake. Jep, I’ve been here a few times. Just needed to make extra sure it’s good, ok? I call that research.

Pit-Stop
If you want a really great burger, this is the place to be. It seriously is one of the best Canggu restaurants burger-wise. Pit-Stop has several locations even though it’s menu is limited at best. In Bali you can be in the lap of luxury for comparatively little money, so why not chill out by the pool in your own little villa, such as at The Canggu Boutique Villas & Spa or Villa Berawa. In case you prefer staying at a hotel, try the extremely stylish Koa D Surfer Hotel or the more laid back The Kirana Hotel Resto & Spa.
